Short Bio: Olanike Adelakun holds a Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M) and another Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLS) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2010 and 2017 respectively. Olanike completed her Bachelors Degree in Law (LL.B) at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, in 2006 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007. She is an alumnus of The Hague Academy of International Law, the Netherlands. She is presently a lecturer at the School of Law, American University of Nigeria where she teaches assigned courses within the field of Private International Law. Olanike has attended several local and international conferences. She is a member of several national and international professional bodies related to her research areas. Olanike is responsible for writing proposals on law clinic establishments and has established law clinics and facilitated the establishment of student chambers in her institutions of engagements. She has taught and collaborated on innovations in teaching and researching; she has introduced a number of innovations in teaching law and has published a good number of articles nationally and internationally in her area of scholarly engagement.
